Sauce Labs and BrowserStack are both cloud-based platforms. To execute your test suites on these platforms, you need to sign up with them as they serve as different providers for cloud-based testing.

Now, let's see how to integrate these providers with Alchemy.

For SauceLabs:-

  1. After successfully signing up,
  2. Log in to your SauceLabs account.
  3. Click on the key icon to find your User Name and Access Key.

  1. Save these credentials in a secure location on your system.
  2. From the left-hand menu, under the "Automated" section, select "Platform Configurator."

  1. Copy the provided URL and save it in a secure location on your system.
  2. In Alchemy, create a new suite by selecting the "Manual" option.
  3. Record a test.
  4. Navigate to "Execution Package" and create a new execution package by selecting the "SauceLabs" option from the "Router Type" dropdown and choosing a browser from the list.
  5. Click on the package name after it's created, then enter the User Name, Access Key in the appropriate fields, and replace the old URL with the new url .

  6. Add any required integrations, save the suite, then generate and build the executables.
  7. Execute the suite out of the UI, that means cmd prompt.

You will notice that your test is executed on the SauceLabs platform.

For Browser stack:-

  1. After successfully signing up,
  2. Log in to your BrowserStack account.
  3. Click on the dropdown labelled "Access Key."
  4. You will find the User Name and Access Key listed separately.

  1. Copy and save them in a secure location on your system.
  2. When creating an execution package in Alchemy, select "BrowserStack" from the "Router Type" dropdown, then choose a browser type.

    7. Once the package is created, click on its name and enter the User Name and Access Key in the appropriate fields of the URL.

     8. Add any necessary integrations, save the suite, and then generate and build the executables.

     9. Execute the suite from the command prompt (outside of the UI).

This time You will notice that your test is executed on the BrowserStack platform.
